The Siege of Bexar Descendants organization is currently inactive.

This web site is intended to be a place for previous members and for the general public to share information and to learn about the Siege of Bexar. Please contribute your biographies and pictures of Siege of Bexar veterans.

The Siege of Bexar Descendants was incorporated as a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation in the State of Texas in 1992. The registered agent is Pat Hill Goodrich of Baytown, Texas. The organization was considered inactive sometime after 2009 by the Texas Secretary of State and its exempt status was revoked by the IRS for failure to file a Form 990, 990-EZ, 990-N, or 990-PF for 3 consecutive years.

Martin Baty Lewis (1806–1884), soldier and county official, was born in Clark County, Indiana, on January 13, 1806, the eldest son of Sally (Lemasters) and Samuel S.
